Kriss is responsible for the overall strategy, corporate development and growth of the company and he is a member of the investment committee. He founded Kimura in 2013. Prior to founding Kimura, he held various senior roles at Soc Gen, Hetco and latterly as global head of Commodities at PPG. Kristofer Tremaine began his career on the International Petroleum Exchange working for Banque Paribas laterally moving in the same team to ABN AMRO and later through acquisition to UBS in London.

He is based in London.

Alan has 40 years of experience in trade finance and structuring. Following 15 years in trade finance banking, Alan joined Trafigura in 1993. There, he assumed the role of global head of trade finance, assisting greatly in the success of the company, before leaving the business in 2012.

Warren has over 23 years in the commodity sector. He is a founding partner of Kimura and board level advisor. Based in the US, he leads Kimura’s expansion in the region both from an investor and origination perspective. He was a partner and senior physical oil trader at Trafigura for 10 years and then developed and managed the expansion of Blue Commodities, a physical commodity brokerage firm into new growth markets. Warren brings a high-level experience of commodity logistics and shipping.

Michael joined Kimura in 2018, as Head of Trade Finance Middle Office. Michael began his career at Morgan Grenfell before moving across into the commodities sector where he assumed various roles in Structured Trade and Commodity Finance at multiple top tier banks and becoming Middle Office Manager since 2000 at BNP Paribas, Standard Chartered and now Kimura.
